With Simon Lake back in the news with the discovery of his 1907 submarine, Defender, it’s time to celebrate his innovations and recognize where it all began with the build of his first vessel, the Argonaut Jr. In 2010 we built a replica and spent a few weeks in an Oklahoma lake exploring the underwater world.
